Our goal is to minimise our environmental footprint while promoting responsible sourcing, reducing waste, and adopting innovative practices that help conserve resources for future generations.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
Net Zero by 2045
We are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2045, in line with global climate goals.
Short-Term Targets
By 2032, we aim to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 80% through targeted initiatives in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and fleet electrification.
Carbon Offsetting
We continue to plant trees and invest in sustainable practices to offset the remaining carbon emissions from our operations.
HOW ARE WE REDUCING OUR CARBON EMISSIONS
Fleet Management and Transport
Implementing Lightfoot Fleet Management to reduce idling and fuel consumption.
Transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs). Currently, we’ve saved 552.30 kg of CO2 per vehicle per year by introducing EVs into our fleet.
Car-Sharing Scheme: Encouraging admin staff to share cars and reducing the number of vehicles on the road.
Energy Use and Office Efficiency
Remote Working: Our flexible working arrangements have helped reduce emissions associated with commuting.
Energy Efficiency: By reducing our printing and switching to more energy-efficient systems, we’ve cut our office carbon footprint by 78%.
Sustainable Sourcing: We ensure that all materials we use, including timber, are sourced sustainably with FSC certification.
Waste Reduction
Recycling and Reusing: 100% of our used rodenticide bait is now recycled, and we use motion cameras and smarter solutions to reduce pesticide use.
Reducing Packaging: We are working towards minimizing packaging waste through smarter procurement and recycling practices.
OUR FUTURE SUSTAINABILITY PLANS
In the coming years, we plan to expand our use of renewable energy, further electrify our fleet, and introduce additional waste reduction measures. We are also exploring opportunities to participate in carbon offsetting projects beyond tree planting, such as reforestation and renewable energy initiatives.
