Our Commitments
- Supporting our communities
We have linked up with a number of organisations including Business Launchpad and South Thames College to give back to the youth of today and provide opportunities for work experience, taster days and CV workshops.
- Educating the public on using pesticides
We feel we have a duty to educate the public and our customers on the hierarchy or risk and the importance of integrated pest control to prevent non-target species being affected by pesticide use. Each year a growing number of birds, hedgehogs and other small mammals are being affected by incorrect use of DIY pesticides by the public. At Beaver we are committed to carrying out environmental risk assessments to prevent harm to non-target species.
- Commit to a sustainable future
We are committed to becoming a climate positive business by 2026. We have set ambitious goals for our use of pesticides, our fleet and our energy consumption in order to reduce our carbon footprint. We are also dedicated to offsetting our carbon by planting trees with the National Forest every year. Find out more.

Our Projects
Planting Trees
Each year Beaver Pest Control plants trees on behalf of customers in The National Forest, as part of our commitment to support the environment. We plant Oak, Hazel and Ash trees and have planted over 550 trees to date!
Movember
Movember is an annual event that Beaver Pest Control supports to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, including mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
50km for the British Heart Foundation
Two of our busy beavers set out on a 50km walk to raise £250 for the British Heart Foundation.
Fundraising Appeal
Our team initially started with a goal of raising £500, but with the generosity of our staff and the help of our wider community, we managed to raise a staggering £1288!
Community Garden Regeneration
Our team volunteered their time on a Sunday to help with a garden regeneration project for a local social housing estate. We helped clean up and plant some new flowers and donated benches for the residents to use to enjoy the space.
Work Experience Placements
Beaver Pest Control offers valuable work experience placements, providing individuals with hands-on opportunities to learn.
Talks at South Thames College
One of our Directors Julia gives talks to students about her experiences of work and gives valuable advice to students.
84km Charity Walk in Sahara Desert
Director Julia and Marketing Manager Natasha walked back-to-back Marathons through the Moroccan wilderness ending in the Sahara desert to raise money for SEED. We raised £2150.
Supporting Social Housing
Beaver joined up with one of our partners CIBS to take part in a community football tournament supporting local housing associations in Brixton.
Spires Centre
Our team got together and spent the day refurbishing a local homeless centre to support the great work they do.
Supporting Amnesty International
Our Beaver teams have always enjoyed the World Cup and the most recent one like the rest was met with excitement for our teams. Beaver Pest Control held a company sweepstakes but decided to donate 20% of the takings to Amnesty International.
Sponsored Football Teams
We sponsored a local youth football club to encourage young girls to be able to keep playing and enjoying the support.
